Admission to West Bengal State Quota seats in Government Dental Colleges and State Quota, Management Quota seats
in Private Dental Colleges in post-graduate Dental course (MDS) are being conducted by WBMCC on the basis of
inter se merit lists of status viz. Un-Reserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes
(OBC, OBC-A, OBC-B), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person with Disability (PwD) among the Open Category,
In-Service Category and Other Service Category candidates.
The aspiring candidates are to appear and qualify in the NEET-MDS 2024 examinations respectively conducted by
National Board of Examination (NBE) and fulfill all the eligibility criteria as set by the counselling authority
for participating in West Bengal PG Dental Counselling and Seat Allotment Process 2024.
State Quota seats for Post-Graduate courses in Dental (MDS) are being allotted through Online Counselling at the State level.
Out of which 40% of the State Quota MDS seats are reserved for In-service teachers and officers of the Department (WBDES/WBDS).
