Admission to West Bengal State Quota, Private Management Quota and NRI Quota seats in different post graduate medical and dental courses (MD/MS Degree, PG Diploma and MDS) in various PG Medical and Dental Colleges of West Bengal are being conducted by WBMCC on the basis of inter se merit lists of status viz. Un-Reserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC, OBC-A, OBC-B), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Person with Disability (PwD) among the Open Category, In-Service Category and Other Service Category candidates. From this year onwards WBMCC is also going to conduct the State Sponsored DNB Post MBBS 3 years Degree and 2 years Diploma for In-service candidates via the same online portal also. The aspiring candidates are to appear and qualify in the NEET-PG and NEET-MDS 2022 examinations respectively conducted by National Board of Examination (NBE) and fulfill the eligibility criteria as set by the counselling authority for participating in West Bengal PG Medical and Dental Counselling and Seat Allotment Process 2022.
